Saturday Vigil Mass

We are now in a position to start streaming Sunday mass (Saturday Vigil) live from St Andrew’s.
We plan to stream each Saturday Vigil at the normal time of 5:30pm starting this Saturday the 23rd May.
We streamed our Ascension Day service on Thursday evening. We did have some issues with the sound which we are working to correct. We look forward to you joining us at for Mass via YouTube this Saturday.

Bishop Paul

After an unintended halt to filming weekly prayers due to his recent cycling accident, Bishop Paul returns with a video from his home.

National Rosary Rally

Pope Francis is encouraging Catholics to pray the Rosary in their family homes during the month of May, especially when the Pandemic is making us aware of the value of our families and making it possible for us to pray together in lockdown at home. He encourages simple Rosaries and joining online Rosary initiatives to pray to Our Lady for deliverance from Covid-19 and he has composed two prayers for this intention. I invite you to join in an initiative that follows on the Pope’s request, the Pentecost Sunday National Rosary Rally, from 9.00am to 9.00pm across Scotland England and Wales.
Our Diocese has been asked to pray a Rosary Hour at 5:00pm and I warmly invite you to take part.

STANDING ORDERS

With the present lockdown the parish income has been greatly reduced, because parishioners are unable to make their usual offerings in the collection.
In the light of this I should be most grateful if parishioners would consider setting up a Standing Order to the parish.
If you feel you would like to do this, please email me parishpriest@standrewscottam.org.uk and I shall forward you the parish account details.
Many thanks for your generosity.  Canon Adrian

100 CLUB

During the current lockdown we cannot run our normal monthly 100 club draw.
Once the lockdown is lifted, and we can return to normal life, we will ensure all the draws that have been missed are played.
If you are due to pay your 100 club weekly membership; please wait until the lockdown situation is lifted before sending your money into church.
