HELP FROM THE PARISH MISSION GROUP

MASS STREAMED FROM CATHEDRALS ACROSS THE COUNTRY

The Catholic Bishops of England and Wales recognise that this time of the COVID-19
pandemic is affecting every person in our countries. Those who are sick, and their
families, are suffering many hardships of isolation from contact with those they love.
Our front-line workers in hospitals and in care homes all over our lands are giving
exceptional service to those who are vulnerable at this time.
In order to show a spiritual solidarity with all those who are involved in the ways
described above, each week from this Thursday, a Catholic Bishop will celebrate Mass
in their Cathedral. More details available here.

Father Andrew was produced a video on the Saints we can follow during this current Pandemic.

Dates for your Diary

16th September 2020 – Alpha Course at St Andrew’s. More details available here.

100 Club

During the current lockdown we cannot run our normal monthly 100 club draw.
Once the lockdown is lifted, and we can return to normal life, we will ensure all the draws that have been missed are played.
If you are due to pay your 100 club weekly membership; please wait until the lockdown situation is lifted before sending your money into church.

STANDING ORDERS

With the present lockdown the parish income has been greatly reduced, because parishioners are unable to make their usual offerings in the collection.
In the light of this I should be most grateful if parishioners would consider setting up a Standing Order to the parish.
If you feel you would like to do this, please email me parishpriest@standrewscottam.org.uk and I shall forward you the parish account details.
Many thanks for your generosity.  Canon Adrian
