The church bell at St Andrew’s was purchased in 1960. It was donated to the parish by Mr Walmsley of Bartle Hall. The following documents detail the procurement of the bell including the original design.
To celebrate the election of Pope Francis in 2013 a South American evening was held.South American themed food and drink along with a quiz and appropriate music meant that an enjoyable evening was had by all.
In 2007 St Andrew’s hosted a flower festival over the weekend of the 30th June & 1st July.The weather was not kind over this weekend, but the flowers put a smile on hardy parishioners and visitors. Relieve the splendour of the festival with these lovely images.
