Parishioners at St Mary’s enjoyed a wreath making masterclass after Mass on Gaudete Sunday. You can follow the process from beginning to the completed wonderful wreath in the following pictures.
The First Sunday of Advent saw the children at St Mary’s create their Christingle, an orange decorated and topped with a candle, which is a symbol of the Christian faith. It is traditionally made in Advent. Thank you to the parents and children who came along and enjoy some of the creations below.

On Monday 13th May Bishop Paul invited Mother Grace along with the Sisters of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament to lunch alongside Parish Priest (and the Bishop’s second cousin!) Canon Adrian.

This weekend we welcome for a short visit the SABS Mother General Rev. Mother Grace Perumpanany and her companion Sr.Anit Karottupullupadavelil.
The Sisters have started the first steps in growing their own food on British Soil. Strawberries and coriander have been planted in the grow bags. While potatoes, onions and cabbages are developing in the raised beds. We’ll report on the progress later in the year.
