Christingle at St Mary’s

The First Sunday of Advent saw the children at St Mary’s create their Christingle, an orange decorated and topped with a candle, which is a symbol of the Christian faith. It is traditionally made in Advent. Thank you to the parents and children who came along and enjoy some of the creations below.

Social Evening September 2019

Friday 13th September 2019 parishioners of St Andrew & Blessed George Haydock in Cottam, St Mary’s in Lea Town and St Robert’s in Catforth got together for a social evening. Corpus Christi Procession 2019

Canon Adrian led the Blessed Sacrament for the Preston Deanery on the feast of Corpus Christi. An excellent turnout ensured that this was the biggest procession we have had in recent times. Sanam Ogden followed the procession both in the church and around the streets of the area and produced this wonderful video.

Indian Social Evening – May 2019
