Canon Adrian led the Blessed Sacrament for the Preston Deanery on the feast of Corpus Christi. An excellent turnout ensured that this was the biggest procession we have had in recent times.
St Clare’s in Fulwood are holding a fantastic Flower Festival from the 14th to the 16th June. All proceeds will be donated to Aid to the Church in Need to support their work in Iraq. Make sure you visit before Sunday night. A small sample of the beautiful displays.
Charu organised a fantastic Indian evening of dancing and food. Accompanied by Prosecco, Indian beers, a challenging quiz and a raffle. Thank you to all who came along and supported. The convent at Lea Town was officially opened with a Mass celebrated by Bishop Paul in December 2018 There followed a reception and the official opening of the ‘James Battersby’ annex.
