During May 2019 we visited Bethlehem as part of a pilgrimage to the Holy Land.

As we celebrate the Birth of Our Lord we would like to share with you some of the images from Manger Square in Bethlehem and of the surrounding area.

We were fortunate to visit The Church of the Nativity at 5:00am before the it was opened to the public. We visited the actual place where Jesus was born in the company of our guide and 7 other pilgrims. We celebrated Mass in the grotto with a group of Polish pilgrims.

Before we could enter the Grotto we needed to wait until the Armenian Mass had finished. Although we were not present at the Mass we could hear the wonderful chants. We recorded a short segment.
