This weekend we welcome for a short visit the SABS Mother General Rev. Mother Grace Perumpanany and her companion Sr.Anit Karottupullupadavelil.
The church bell at St Andrew’s was purchased in 1960. It was donated to the parish by Mr Walmsley of Bartle Hall. The following documents detail the procurement of the bell including the original design.
The Sisters have started the first steps in growing their own food on British Soil. Strawberries and coriander have been planted in the grow bags. While potatoes, onions and cabbages are developing in the raised beds. We’ll report on the progress later in the year.

To celebrate the election of Pope Francis in 2013 a South American evening was held.South American themed food and drink along with a quiz and appropriate music meant that an enjoyable evening was had by all.
