On Saturday 11th May 2019 a strong contingent of Altar Servers, both young and old, from across the Diocese attended Mass at St Peter’s Cathedral in Lancaster. The church bell at St Andrew’s was purchased in 1960. It was donated to the parish by Mr Walmsley of Bartle Hall. The following documents detail the procurement of the bell including the original design.
